Black Cherry is one of the most striking decorative rocks we stock. The color reads as a deep burgundy with rust and dark wine tones blended through the load, picking up dramatic warmth in direct sun and settling into a moody, rich plum in shade. It’s the rock contractors and homeowners reach for when a project needs a real accent, not a safe neutral.

The angular crushed shape comes from quarried, screened stone rather than tumbled river rock, which gives it a more architectural feel and helps it lock together cleanly in beds without rolling. Pairs especially well with modern Southwest design, charcoal-toned pavers, sage and silver-leaf plantings, and contemporary metal hardscape where the deep red plays against neutral structures.

Sizes & Bulk Options

• 1/2″ Screened: the finer grade. Better for pathway tops, dog runs, decomposed-style fill, and tighter detail work around plantings.
• 1″ Screened: the all-purpose landscape grade. Standard for ground cover, beds, tree wells, and feature accents.

Sold by the ton, half ton, and full truckload. Coverage averages roughly 80 sq ft per ton at 2″ depth for the 1″ grade, slightly more for the 1/2″.
