For best results, start with a leveled and compacted sub-base. Spread #57 Rock evenly in 2–4 inch layers, then compact with a plate compactor. For driveways or base layers, use a geotextile fabric underneath to improve longevity and prevent mixing with soil. If using the minus variety, lightly wet and compact for maximum stability.
